THE ARRIVAL JOURNAL / VEHICLES

The right vehicle starts with your luggage

A practical way to choose between an executive saloon and a larger passenger vehicle.

Begin with the full travelling party

Write down how many people will be travelling, including children, before considering a vehicle category. Then count the luggage. Two groups with the same passenger count can need different vehicles if one has large suitcases or bulky items. Describe the actual journey, not only a preferred model name.

Share the details that affect space

Include checked bags, cabin cases, pushchairs and any specialist equipment. If you have an unusual item, give its approximate size. The reservations team can assess vehicle options against that information. A photograph is useful for understanding style but does not confirm the capacity of the car allocated to your booking.

Explain what matters to you

Tell the team if a particular feature or vehicle type is important. Discuss access requirements and any seating preferences before confirming. For a larger party, ask whether one passenger vehicle or more than one car would suit the itinerary and destinations.

Check the confirmed specification

Read the quote for the agreed vehicle category and any essential requirements. Images on this site are illustrative; the actual model, configuration and availability are confirmed by London Direct Chauffeurs. Update the team if your passenger or luggage count changes before travel.
